Endless to say I didn't hesitate to go to her in 2011 when I re-deployed from Afghanistan and needed a place to live as my other house was rented out. She produced some properties for me to look at and again process went very smooth and I knew I could trust her with the purchase. So I am now working in Hawaii for 5 years and good possibility of returning so of course needless to mention who I will be working with. “My ordeal began right as the market was about to go crazy. I had been working extremely hard to get my credit straight and recover after a very rough 10 years. I started with a realtor who was new and thought he would be eager to help me. Not the case. I talked with more than 10 realtors within a year time. Everyone of them quickly blew me off once they knew I was not goin to make them easy cash. My favorite story was the new realto. He was supposed to meet me and show me a house. I took the afternoon off and was leaving to go, received a text stating he just bought a new truck and didn't want to put miles on it, so the realtor selling the house would be meeting me. When getting to the address which was an hour away, I get a text from the other realtor stating that she was showing another house and left me the key on the porch. I went into this person's home alone and had access to the whole house. I was just completely dumbfounded at the unprofessionalism and disgusting unconcerned behavior. My daughter had a friend, who was a realtor for Century 21 and spoke with her about my situation. Her name is Sydnie and she lives in the Virginia Beach area. She told my daughter about Melanie Whitehead and said that's who I need to speak with.She sent me the contact information. I was hesitant because I've already been through so many and I was just exhausted from being treated Like I didn't matterand pushed aside. But I gave her a call and we met at a property I wanted to see. I instantly fell in love with her because of her warmth and the way she spoke to me. Because of the market we went through so many houses. But Melanie stuck with me. She felt for me and even went to houses that I could not get to. But she would go tour the home take pictures call me write contracts. I could go on and on about how wonderful this woman is. She truly is a one in 1 million. I recommend her to anybody and everybody I see I don't care how good they think their realtor is. Melanie truly cared about me and my family and helping me get into a house that was a good house.
